BOTOX/ BOTOX Injections

Every smile, laugh and frown you make contracts the muscles that control your facial expressions. That drug is Botox.

BOTOX works by preventing nerve impulses from reaching the facial muscles that are responsible for expression in the face. The muscles are relaxed, so they don't contract. After having received treatment, skin displays no sign of wrinkles and stays smooth while areas not treated with BOTOX contract and show expression as they normally would.

Through a procedure known as cosmetic denervation, Botox is injected into specific areas of the face with a small micro-needle. Precise amounts of BOTOX are injected into the target area, and the needle's fineness means that pain is negligible. Many patients who have undergone BOTOX treatments make a comparison between the injections and a bug bite.
